A little about us

This website was set up to offer a community and support to people who are musicians and other music industry professionals.
It is split into 2 main parts: written articles and audio interviews. The articles are represented as leaves and can be read or written by you. Turning the tree from black and white to colour.
Anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions can so easily be tied into what we do, but by hearing and responding to different perspectives, finding further resources, and having a chance to be open about what you are going through, we hope you can find something that resonates with you and takes a little weight off your shoulders.
I have been a professional drummer for a number of years in the UK. My incentives for beginning this site are derived from direct experience of the pressures felt by many musicians. I am a not a psychologist, not a PHD graduate, but that is almost exactly the point: titles and preconceptions are not as important as what is actually being said. Our voice is worth being heard both verbally and musically whether you are playing for Queen at Wembley or in your own bedroom for your cat.
